Born on August 20, 1996, in Nacogdoches, Texas, Garrick spent his life rooted in Sabine County and Rosevine, where he built his home and family. A graduate of Hemphill High School, he carried small-town values throughout his life — strong work ethic, loyalty, and deep commitment to those he cared about.
Garrick was a dedicated husband to his wife, Candice Newell, whom he married in 2023, and a loving father to his daughters, Dallee Newell and Hadley Jones. His family was his greatest joy, and he was known for the deep love and unwavering devotion he showed them every day.
Professionally, Garrick was respected as a general foreman supervisor with PMC, where he worked on refinery shutdowns and was known for his commitment to safety, leadership, and diligence.
